7 FACTS ABOUT MALAYSIA

Assalamualaikum and hello!

Today as promised on the previous entry I'm going to share somewhat kind of interesting facts about our beloved home country MALAYSIA :)

Well it's literally a bit to do with history so hope you guys are ready to lend the eyes for while here on this page.

Alright?

So here we go!

1. Malaysia Independence Day was in 31st August 1957.


2. Tunku Abdul Rahman was the first prime minister of Malaysia. Followed by Tun Abdul Razak, Tun Hussein Onn, Tun Dr.Mahathir Mohamed, Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and the latest one is Datuk Sri Najib Tun Razak.


3.Official religion in Malaysia is Islam.


4.Petronas Twin Towers (451m) located at the heart of Kuala Lumpur was the tallest building in the world from 1998-2004 designed by Argentine- North American architect Cesar Pelli and opened by Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamed.


5. Malaysia had been held Commonwealth Games in 1998 in the XVI Commonwealth Games which were the first held in Asian country and the last Commonwealth Games of the 20th century.

6.Latest population of people in Malaysia is 30 644 293. What a surprised it has been increased drastically from past few years lols!

7. Datuk Jimmy Choo ( fashion designer,born in Penang ), Datuk Michelle Yeoh ( Chinese actress & dancer born in Ipoh ) and Yuna (Singer, from Alor Star Kedah) are among international figure that has been made Malaysia proud of.

There indeed a lot of things to explore while having a getaway even a short holiday in this country located in the heart of Asia.
It is a country which contain multiracial people with beautiful traditions and so on. Despite of the different religion and culture, yet the people still live in peaceful and harmony up till now.

Malaysia is actually is a Southeast Asian country occupying the Malaysian Peninsula and part of the island of Borneo. The  capital is Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia have 14 states which including

Perak

Kedah
Perlis

Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan
